Sigmund Freud (1856 1939), the founding daddy of psychoanalysis, inherited the idea of primordial bisexuality and managed to get the bedrock of their psychoanalytic framework. Planning to erect a theory that is psychological of and sex that could complement the biological fundamentals of psychoanalysis, he posited a type of mental bisexuality as an analogue to evolutionary notions of embryological bisexuality.
